Your safety and well-being, and that of our employees, are our top priority. For this reason, we’re constantly working to optimise our safety and hygiene concept and adapting it to the current circumstances.
In accordance with the latest legal provisions, our restaurant can open its doors for you again. To visit our restaurant, you currently need a negative test from the day in question. This is no longer required for sitting outside. Vaccinated and convalescent people are excluded from this regulation if appropriate evidence is provided.
Hotel guests need a negative test upon arrival. For longer stays, a new test is required after 2 days. Vaccinated and convalescent people with appropriate evidence are also excluded from this.
Your safety and health are very important to us. That’s why our employees are provided with two rapid tests every week, as well as the offer to be vaccinated.
We also use the Luca App to facilitate digital contact tracing in cooperation with health authorities. You can also leave your contact details with us in analogue form when you reserve your table or when you’re on site.
To make your stay with us as safe and pleasant as possible, we have fitted our rooms with new air filters from the high-quality brand @Dyson. As the air in interior spaces can be up to 5 times as polluted as the air outside, these sealed filters with Core Flow technology help to remove up to 99.95% of harmful particles from the air while simultaneously circulating pleasantly cool air into the room.
With these filters we offer you an additional safety factor in addition to “normal” hygiene measures so that you can breathe easy.
We have used the last few months to redesign our terrace for you with comfortable lounge furniture. All tables are sufficiently far apart from each other.
Of course, we’re also calling on all our guests and employees to adhere to the guidelines valid in Germany: social distancing, comply with the required hygiene standards, wear a facemask. This applies to all public areas of the hotel.

From September 2021, our guests will be able to check in using the contactless Hotelbird platform. You’ll be able to check in/out and organise room access and payment independently and digitally using your smartphone or an on-site terminal.
This means you’re not only completely free with regard to your individual arrival and departure times, but that you also benefit from even better hygiene and safety standards.
